SOCCER SKILL SCHOOLS FUTSAL ACADEMY

The Soccer Skill Schools Futsal Academy blends the most effective soccer skills training methodology with the fast-paced game of futsal. Players are taught how, when, and why to use up to 65 individual skills, along with key technical and tactical concepts specific to futsal.

Futsal is a small-sided (5v5) game played on a hard surface with a weighted, low-bounce ball, creating constant opportunities for players to make quick decisions, combine with teammates, and perform skills under pressure. Many of the world’s greatest players—Pelé, Ronaldo, Marta and others—developed through futsal. As Pelé famously said:
“I played futsal growing up. In futsal you need to think quick and play quick, so it is easier for you when you move to normal football.”

SKILL BAND CHALLENGE ©

“Practice never ends.” Players are encouraged to continue training at home by practicing independently. The 60+ skills coached during camp are grouped by difficulty and type. Using a system inspired by martial-arts belts, players earn colored skill bands when they master each group. This builds focus, confidence, and freedom for young players. The Skill Band Challenge is completed at the end of each camp week.

Please note: There is no session on Super Bowl Sunday (February 8th).
